The Intensive English Program is a comprehensive approach to studying English. You'll have the advantage of three different classes: an integrated Core Class at one of nine FLS levels, a focused elective class covering a specific skill or topic and an Academic Workshop to round out your school day.

The FLS TOEFL Preparation Program helps you meet those challenges. This popular program is specifically designed to give students a critical advantage in taking the most commonly accepted exam at American institutions.

Our intensive program includes a total of 36 teacher-led lessons per week: 18 lessons of integrated study to improve all English skills; 12 lessons devoted to specific TOEFL strategies and skills and 6 lessons of Academic Workshops for additional language practice and skill development.

Take a journey to Hollywood, the home of the stars, and pursue your acting dreams in our summer acting camp! Our three week program on the beautiful Los Angeles campus provides an ideal setting to work on your acting style with expert teachers from Hollywood’s unmatched acting community. You’ll meet students from around the world as you perfect your English language enunciation, and participate in movement exercises, character analysis and development, improvisation, and other scene work.

Our program includes daily acting workshops, tours of Hollywood and Universal Studios, a behind-the-scenes tour of a local playhouse, and two live productions of theater in Los Angeles!

This popular program introduces participants to the exciting process of creating a short film. Past teachers include Columbia University instructors and directors and technicians on major Hollywood productions, including projects with famed director George Lucas and award-winning actor Ray Liotta. Let Hollywood insiders teach you how to write a compelling short screenplay and to draw clear and engaging storyboards. You and your fellow students will also learn basic camera moves and have the opportunity to participate in on-location shooting.

After the shoot, students help edit and add effects to their film and then present their work to other students in a movie showcase. Students also experience a behind-the-scenes look at the film industry with visits to major movie studios and other fascinating sites related to the entertainment business.

The Cinema Camp is enhanced with 18 lessons of ESL instruction each week taught by engaging instructors, or substitute a fascinating class in film history taught by an expert in the subject.

Our combination ESL school and Surf Camp is located in the heart of Orange County, the home of the world’s most iconic surf cities! This scenic California coastal area provides the perfect backdrop for a summer of learning English, making friends, and enjoying the sun. In addition to experiencing some of the best English language instruction our program offers, you’ll enjoy small-group lessons in surfing provided by expert instructors.

The camp is based in the beautiful and relaxing community of Los Angeles surrounded by rugged hills and just minutes from the ocean. Students will stay in attractive dormitory accommodation near the campus with half-board accommodation.
