The San Francisco camp is located on the very modern and clean campus of San Jose State University in the Silicon Valley. The location of the camp makes it very safe for young people and also accessible to all of the best Silicon Valley and San Francisco attractions. Tamwood uses many of the campus’ facilities including its modern classrooms, residence, cafeteria and sports facilities. Among spectacular natural beauty, San Francisco is recognized as one of the world's most livable cities. The city is located at the tip of the San Francisco Peninsula, with the Pacific Ocean to the west, San Francisco Bay to the east, and the Golden Gate to the north. Surrounded by water San Francisco is home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, and boasts a mild climate. San Francisco is a popular international tourist destination famous for its landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the cable cars, Coit Tower and China Town, its steep rolling hills, and its eclectic mix of architecture. The city is also known for its diverse, cosmopolitan population. With long beaches, lots of nature, lots of culture and history, San Francisco is a wonderful place for young people to live and learn.

Students follow a carefully designed curriculum that stresses all English skills including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and vocabulary.
Campers take part in instructional activities 3 half days a week. Tamwood certified coaches and teachers lead students in such activities as mountain biking, field sports, arts and crafts, dancing, drama and leadership skills. Students also enjoy fun activities including swimming, tournaments, games.
Residence: Each room in residence has up to three beds and shared washroom facilities. Meals are all you can eat style and served in the campus dining hall. Campus recreation facilities include gyms, a pool, sports fields, auditorium, and computer labs with free internet access
